Mist has an odor

• If the unit is new, an odor is normal. We recommend to remove the water tank and open cover. Let tank sit in cool environment for 12 hours before operation.
• Water may not be clean or has become stagnant from sitting too long. Clean the water tank/transducer and fill with clean water. *Refer to CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section of your manual.
